2011 was a year of firsts for Bangarang. This was the first time he had truly lived on his own, and more importantly, his first time getting in the DJ booth. Since then, the Missouri native has gone from college party rocker, to established DJ, Producer, and Radio Personality.
To Bang, consistency and persistency are everything. This mindset over the years would not only help him become one of Salt Lake City’s most sought after DJ’s, but it would lead him into opportunities to perform with artists such as T-Pain, Dillon Francis, Trey Songz, Steve Aoki, 2 Chainz, and many more.
Wanting a way to give people more out of his DJ sets, Bang started producing music in 2018. And from that point on, Bangarang has been able to use his knowledge and influence as an Open Format DJ to make a number of remixes, edits, and originals. Keeping club goers and fans entertained no matter the genre.
In 2014, Bang joined Utah’s only hip-hop station, U92 (KUUU – 92.5FM) as a Street Team DJ. Overtime he would work his way to Assistant Program Director of the brand. There, he can be heard Monday-Saturday, 10am to 3pm.
Keeping up his momentum going into 2020, Bang was invited to join Blackout Artists, One of the nightlife industry’s premier talent booking companies, in fall of 2019.
Bangarang’s experience over the years has made him more than a DJ. He’s an experience.
